Booking & Cancellation Policies

These policies apply to all guided day trips, lodge programs, and ranch programs operated by Natales Fly Fishing. Please read them carefully before confirming your booking.

01Reservation & Payment

  • A 50% deposit is required to confirm and secure your booking.
  • The remaining 50% balance is due 90 days prior to departure.
  • For bookings made less than 90 days before departure, full payment is required at the time of booking.
  • All payment processing fees, including bank transfer, PayPal, credit card, or other applicable fees, are the responsibility of the sender.
  • A booking is considered confirmed once the required payment has been received by Natales Fly Fishing.

02Cancellation Policy

Our cancellation policy reflects costs incurred in advance for equipment, logistics, staff, permits, accommodations, and trip preparation.

  • All deposits and advance payments are non-refundable.
  • In the event of cancellation, all amounts paid are non-refundable, unless the client provides a replacement guest acceptable to Natales Fly Fishing.
  • Any replacement guest must assume and accept all applicable booking conditions, policies, and responsibilities.
  • We strongly recommend purchasing comprehensive travel and trip cancellation insurance at the time of booking.

03Weather & Fishing Conditions

Patagonia's weather can be unpredictable, and changing conditions are an inherent part of the experience.

  • Fishing excursions are not automatically cancelled due to adverse weather conditions.
  • Our guides continuously assess weather, water levels, river conditions, access, and other environmental factors.
  • When necessary, Natales Fly Fishing may modify the fishing location, timing, itinerary, or other operational aspects of the excursion to ensure the safest and most favorable experience possible.
  • The final decision regarding operational changes is made by the guide based on safety and current conditions.

04Safety & Guide Discretion

For safety and operational reasons, our guides have final discretion regarding fishing locations, timing, routes, and itinerary adjustments.

Guests agree to follow all reasonable instructions provided by their guide throughout the activity.

05Fishing & Catch

All fishing is conducted on a strict catch-and-release basis.

Guests are expected to follow their guide's instructions and practice responsible fishing at all times.

Please note that fishing success and fish catches cannot be guaranteed and are dependent on natural conditions and other factors beyond our control.

06Equipment

Natales Fly Fishing provides fishing equipment as specified in the booking.

Guests are responsible for the proper use and care of all equipment provided during the activity. Guests may be responsible for the reasonable costs of repair or replacement of equipment damaged through misuse, negligence, or intentional actions. Normal wear and tear is excluded.

07Travel Insurance

Travel, medical, evacuation, and trip cancellation insurance are not included in the booking.

We strongly recommend obtaining comprehensive travel insurance that provides appropriate coverage for your trip, including emergency medical assistance and evacuation.

Global Rescue, our trusted partner, is recommended for emergency assistance and evacuation services.

08Acceptance of Policies

By completing a booking with Natales Fly Fishing, guests acknowledge that they have read, understood, and agreed to these Booking & Cancellation Policies and accept the operational conditions applicable to their trip.
